Chase Reserve Card Review

When you travel a lot it’s important to have a good credit card. For over a year I have used Chase Reserve and I thought I would give it an honest review.

The Chase Reserve Card is a victor from the second you slide it into your back pocket. First, you begin with a very attractive initial reward — maybe the best reward on any card. Second, the advantages piles on as you gain extra points on travel, dinners and car reservations. What’s more, when it comes time to reclaim your points, the Chase Card gives you almost unmatched possibilities. In fact, better than any other card on the market today.

Let me explain.

The Chase Card offers:

  1. 2 Ultimate Rewards points per $1 spent on travels and food purchases.
  2. 1 point for each dollar on all other purchases.

The card has a yearly fee of $0 for the first year, and from the second year it’s $95. You can use your personal spending account like to decide if your spending would legitimize the yearly charge.

Additionally, as with any great travel card, this card charges no foreign transaction fees. This is just one of the reasons that it’s the best card around (Another is that it’s made of cool metal, as opposed to dull plastic):

New members that never had the card before can gain two awesome rewards. The first is the best: Earn 50000 extra points after you burn through $4000 in the initial three months from account opening. That is a lot of money towards travels when you reclaim through Chase points. Furthermore, you can get an extra 5000 points when you include an approved client in the initial three months, and that client uses the card.

You can use the points you acquire on the Chase Card for money or gift vouchers at an estimation of 1 penny for each point. That is not awful. In any case, when you reclaim them for travels booked through Chase, implying that each point has an estimation of just small pennies.

Buying on the Chase portal gives you a better price compared to Google, Expedia etc.  When you’re prepared to book, you can pay with your Chase Card or reclaim your points at the current rate.

I recommend this card to everyone. Sign up here.
